These scales are leagues ahead of others we have tried. The quality is outstanding, and the scales are easy to understand and operate. Well worth the cost. Rave have the best price we’ve seen too.

A fantastic piece of kit. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend the Exagram Scale to anyone. And at the moment of this review being written, I don't believe the price from Rave can be beaten.

Fine but I was hoping for just a little bit more. The silicone mat is mandatory for >60°C (ie most espresso shot glasses unless insulating) but the mat is not held on to the top at all, it keeps moving and falling off especially if you move the scales (eg between weighing powder in vs espresso out). I've had to use double sided sticky tape to hold it down. A better design would be a mat that grips round the sides on at least 2 sides, as other similar scales do. The "sleep" more the scales enter after a few minutes of inactivity does not wake itself when you place a weight down, meaning you have to slide the power switch off and on again (or press and hold a completely invisible unlit touch button). The touch buttons are not great. In "loud" mode you get a quiet beep when your touch successfully registers but you can't hear that if you're simultaneously flicking a switch to start your machine pump. Even my much cheaper previous scales would just flash the screen blank momentarily to indicate the button has been pressed. They do seem to drift a bit, +/-0.1g. When taring this is improved if you let the new weight sit on the scales for quite a few seconds and then use a very light touch on the tare button. Drip proof design seems alright although I do worry about the usb-c power socket which I believe the manual warns about keeping dry, I'd have preferred the socket either on the bottom (which is raised on rubber pads so should stay dry unless you leave it in a puddle), with a silicone cap or otherwise just rated waterproof. Fairly responsive though not the best I've seen. They are OK but really just OK.
