“I was a little dubious of this item as I wasn't sure if a cheaply priced, stick on temperature guage could rival a traditional probe style device. I made my first jug with both to check and sure enough, temps were the same. So, now I no longer need an annoying clamp-on temperature guage that gets in the way or moves. Providing you don't leave your jug in water to soak, this stick-on guage is perfectly happy being washed without peeling off. I cleaned my jug and wiped it over with isopropyl alchohol before applying; just be careful not to apply it too low down as they don't like to go over a double curve.”
