“Have brought numerous different coffees, with the Italian being a favourite. Now moved across to the AF Blend No 666 which as stated is strong is great as either straight espresso, cappuccino or as an Americano where you add to cold water @ 150 gram (removing the crema of the espresso) and then using the wand to steam and froth up the Americano. Great as a coffee in the morning.”
“Really tasty medium-dark roast. More medium-dark than say Neapolitan dark. Very tasty balanced shot. Hint of acidity, lots of body.
Only thing i don’t like (and this is a very minor stylistic gripe) is the “strong AF” branding - it perpetuates a mis-impression about “strong” coffee - James Hoffmann has a good video on this. It’s just a darker roasted arabica bean - this doesn’t make it “strong” (or weak).”
