“Fudgey is definitely the word to describe this. Works beautifully for a flat white, really rich, smooth and thick crema which blends well with cow's milk and soya milk. Really lovely mouth feel, not bitter at all. Would definitely buy again.”

“Put these beans into my hopper on day two as I didn’t have any beans left and brewed an espresso and there were some pleasant more nutty with slight fudge which was slightly muffled by the beans being a bit too fresh and newly roasted with the CO2 in the beans not fully rested.
After day 5 made the prefect espresso for me with more of the flavours coming through an none of that CO2 carbonated tonic water aftertaste”

“This has been made into flat whites and lattes using a Gaggia Carezza espresso machine. It's not too tricky to get this coffee dialled. After the first cup just ground it slightly less fine and achieved a balance I was happy with. It is a bit of a grower as a flavour, I am enjoying it a lot now. All I would say is I am not getting much of a fudge flavour from it. If I was naming this based on how it tastes to me it would be called "Sweet n Smokey". This was backed up when my wife had a latte, and she remarked on the smokiness. Most times she doesn't comment on flavour of coffee but did notice that. Maybe if I dialled this slightly coarser or this was made in another machine it would come out slightly different. I am very happy with it though and would go down as one of the better coffees I have tried.”
