“I play in an acoustic trio and for the past 2 years have been exclusively playing the cajon. Ultimately because I have soft soft hands and a bad back this was no longer tangible and needed a kit as close to a cajon in terms of compactness and ease of transport. This is the one for me! Basically even if it sounded terrible this would've been a huge upgrade for me purely for the pain relief however it sounds excellent. The quality of the construction is excellent (it should be for £550) the snare in particular with a throw off switch sounds great. Bass drum needs a big ole pillow in there but nothing new there. The options for adding extras are great. I've added a cowbell and a tambourine and a 14' hi hats that's all I need ever! Sounds good raw or micd up. And the delivery was excellent too. 5 star product 5 star experience.”
