“I have had this Slaptop Cajon for just a few weeks now and I'm delighted with it, I can't seem to walk past it without sitting it on my knee, practice some recently learned grooves and play along to some music. Although it has a relatively small playing area it offers a surprising variety of sounds that are a joy to find, as this requires accuracy it encourages practice and that is a joy in itself when you find yourself consistently finding those little sweet spots. Acoustically it is fine to play along with a guitar or two, but anything more than that would require it to be amplified, that is a good thing because some of those subtle tones could be brought out more which otherwise wouldn't be noticed. To summarise, this is a great little percussion instrument and well worth the money, it will give you a whole lot of fun whether you are just practising or playing along with others. As it is so portable and versatile it will need to be looked after and protected especially if you'll be carrying it around much, so I would suggest investing in the Meinl made-to-fit carry bag.
