“Puresound snare wires are well made and always seem to generate a great snare sound. These wires have definately opened up the sound of my Gretsch snare drum with the warmth of the maple enhanced with these Equalizer wires. I don't crank the heads, especially the bottom head, on my snare so there is plenty of response from the wires. I find these wires do seem to reduce the unwanted 'noise' produced by sympathetic buzz especially with the bass amp being close to my kit in a live situation.”
