The delivery itself was excellent. The bed arrived just two days after ordering, which was impressive. The driver also called around 30 minutes before delivery to check someone was in, which I appreciated. The price was another positive. £252 for a large single bed with two drawers, including a mattress, is very good value. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. The company sent me the wrong colour of bed. I ordered silver, which is a light grey, but received steel, which is a much darker grey. This was their mistake. The reason this is a 3 star review is the customer service, or rather the complete lack of it. The website claims this is a family run business with friendly customer service available by phone, email, or in person, seven days a week, with UK based after sales support. My experience does not match these claims at all. The after sales phone option (option 3) simply rings out and then cuts off. I tried calling over a dozen times across two days. The only option that was ever answered was sales (option 1). I was advised to email their customer help address which I did. After hearing nothing for several days, I called again and was told no email had been received. While still on the phone, I resent the same email and was told it had now come through. Since then, I have heard absolutely nothing. As a result, I am left with a boxed bed sitting in my office room, waiting for a response that never seems to come. There has been no acknowledgement of their mistake, no apology, and no offer to replace the bed, which is the bare minimum I would expect. After reading other reviews, it is clear I am not alone in experiencing poor customer service. I would urge others to think carefully before buying. 2nd Feb update. I received a telephone call on 31st January from the Customer Services, presumably prompted by my review. I received a small refund for keeping the bed which covers the cost of the vallance and headboard cover I bought to mask the wrong colour. The bed is comfy but note there is no metal join fastening to keep the 2 base pieces together though I've weighed the drawers down with sheets which will hopefully do the trick. I did get an apology which I appreciated although I do wonder if it would have been forthcoming had I not left a 1 star review to start with.
