“Fast delivery, but the product is junk. I installed around 120 of these and they were a nightmare from start to finish. The spring clips constantly popped out, sliced my hands up, and still didn’t hold the fittings tight enough to sit properly flush in the ceiling.
I also had a faulty fitting straight out of the box that kept tripping the breaker, costing me about an hour in fault-finding. That is the last thing you need on a job when you’re fitting new gear.
I’ve been an electrician for 20 years and know a bad fitting when I see one. These are badly designed, poorly made, and caused far more hassle than they were worth. I will not be using them again.
These might look alright in the box, but on the tools they are a complete liability.”
