“Definitely an improvement to the usual standard pillow wrestling that occured on a nightly basis. Easier to get comfy on my side without any mask leak with having the spaces for the mask. Comfortable support for the neck also. 1 star deducted as the cover that is supplied with the pillow as standard is very thin. I am glad I purchased the coolmax cover at the same time but for the cost of the pillow I would have expected a better quality cotton cover. I understand its a niche product in a nicke market but for the price the standard cover could be improved.”
Hi Martin, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. The pillow used to come with the Coolmax cover as standard however we had complaints that the Velcro from mask straps was pulling on the Coolmax fabric (as it is a woven fabric) and this was causing "fuzzing" of the fabric. A few customers complained about this, we worked with the customers that did complain and they decided that the cotton Jersey was actually the better fabric. We then switched the cover choice to the cotton jersey as we believe it is the better fabric covering due to the above. “Having been diagnosed with sleep apnea about two months ago I really struggled to get comfortable at night using the cpap mask. Although a bit expensive, this (king size) pillow has really helped. I find it so easy to just lay on my back to get to sleep. I am still getting the hang of sleeping on my side but so much better than an ordinary pillow. Would definitely recommend.”
