What did this product help heal or comfort? very much so
This works ! I got the wool one. Tends to compact to firm with some squeeze. I'm going to further custom mine by adding additional feather stuffing to the outer layer either side, keeping a wool core, so it's outer contact areas are not so firm and easy to fluff up, which i think is neccessary for improved comfort. I find slipping a merino wool buff available on amazon, acts very well as a removable washable slip-cover. I would love for Putnhams to make a matching item for the ankle / foot because using this knee cushion works very well to align the hip, lower spine and upper leg and knee. A simular pad placed in a similar way to the side of one ankle and foot would keep the lower leg and feet aligned with this corrected upper alignment and fits with how using cushions causes the body to behave when side sleeping. I've improvised this with a 30cm x 20cm travel pillow and it really aids and improves the use of this knee cushion. The strap feels a bit thin in width and i would prefer one which can be totally detached and adjusted by velcro on either end, rather than sewn attachment at one end. The velcro pad attached to the main body feels in the wrong place, reducing the amount of attachment which works when adjusted to my knee. As a middle aged frequent night pee-er, there can be issues with putting the thing on and off at night. I sometimes have to slide/turn the knee cushion when i semi-side sleep to get it out of the way. Keeping the strap loose makes this easy but im aware i have to wake up a bit to keep slipping the knee cushion's position as i change sides during less-deep periods of sleep. But without the attachment strap i think the cushion would get lost in the bed each night and i'd have to turn on the light and try to find it each time i needed to use it. With the strap keeping it in the general knee area, it's always at arms reach which is a better workable compromise over searching for a detached cushion in the dark. A good design, worth investing in, but which could do with a few improvements to make it absolutely perfect.

What did this product help heal or comfort? Knee pain after 3 full replacements.
Comfortable and easy to use, especially with the adjustable velcro fastening. Sweat-free in use and much better than using a household cushion!

It was well made but too firm for me. I needed it after a hip replacement but it wasn’t suitable.

This is an excellent product. As far as I’m aware the only fully brush made one despite what some other manufacturers labels say. It is also adjustable making a huge difference - so it is tailor made!
