“My reflux is due to my oesophagectomy operation, done Aug 2016. Attacks can occur nightly or I might have several days clear. An attack results in me waking up with a larynx bathed in digestive juice and a cough; most unpleasant and dangerous. I have four large pillows, three behind the torso, one under the knees, and now the wedge under the three pillows as well.
The system is comfortable and seems to improve the chances of preserving an elevated angle and not sliding flat. On current showing I will keep using it. One minor fault - it walks a few inches over night but not enough to jeopardise function. Time will tell.”
