“Well it's early days so I can't say if it has worked as I still have some pain but... it turned up very quickly, is very well made, makes me sit straight at my desk and doesn't squish down to nothing but isn't too hard either. I can say that I am in less pain at work but as my problem has occurred over many years I don't expect miracles overnight. If it continues to stay in shape and helps my coccyx pain, I will buy another two for the home and car.”
“Bought to use in the car and ease discomfort. It feels great and the extra angle suits the shape of the drivers seat better than the shallower angle wedge. Very pleased with this purchase”
“This is great, the pain from pressure is gone, so much more comfortable, makes sitting for work and driving so much better. Thinking I'll get another to leave one in the car and one at my desk! Thank you!”
“I purchased one of these wedges many years ago and find it very useful especially when attending talks, classes etc where I don't know what the seats are going to be like. Bought another, one to be kept on the car. The old one is possible a bit flattened, but not by much, it has lasted brilliantly. Now I have two.”
“I purchased the 8 degree coccyx cut-out wedge - and was pleased with the look & quality (+ useful storage bag) - so no complaints. On using it in my car it did though become apparent fairly quickly it did not have enough thickness to cater for my particular sciatic ache. But it occurred to me that if I bought another to put on top it would produce the level of thickness required to provide the necessary relief. I first consulted Putnams direct about this ... & they thought it inadvisable, as the second & upper wedge was likely to slip-around during travel. However I was fairly convinced that as the wedge has an efficient seat-strap + my weight this was unlikely to happen, so I took the plunge and ordered an identical second. Have to say, after using the two together now for some time I think I have proved my point, i.e. better support with little or no-slippage. Conclusion: One Putnam wedge no doubt provides relief for minor discomfort - but you need two when the discomfort is more acute. (Or else, Putmans could make the 8 degree wedge thicker in the first place, at an amended price, which is what I would recommend.)”
