“Replaced my existing working hand pump to our 20' deep well with a new complete assembly from W Robinson Ltd. The old hand pump was getting increasingly more difficult to lift the water, despite having replaced the leather cup washers several times over the years. Decided to "take the plunge" and replace the whole assembly. The new "village pump" works a treat. Delivery was swift and the pre-order advice from the staff at W Robinson Ltd., was spot on. I'm very pleased, especially having an alternative means of watering my garden in this dry spell.”
“The pump was purchased to provide water to a trough. The water is at the bottom of a 16 foot well. The pump was connected to a 1-1/4 inch galvalised pipe fitted with a foot valve at the bottom. After filling the pipe for the first time and then priming the pump with a jug of water, a few pumps of the handle and water flowed into the trough. The pump does need priming after a couple of days none use but this may be down to water leaking out of the old pipe work. Pump works very well.
