Brass Threaded 1ΒΌ" Filter Foot valve Reviews

I have a garden hand pump. Although mainly decorative the pump is located over a well and is functional. It had no foot valve and after even a short period of non-use the water drained out and the pump needed to be primed before it would function. Having fitted this foot valve I have left it, experimentally, untouched for various periods up to 1 month and it has always functioned immediately, without any need for priming. Performance may degrade as the valve ages but the installation is, clearly, a great success. I should, perhaps point out that the lift required of water is only in the region of 1 to 2 metres but this does not invalidate the improvement obtained.
