The Supreme S170 is packed with new features which strive to change the face of goaltending.The S170 glove features a true one piece cuff for stability and rigidity and has this backed with standard HD foam material. The HD in the S170 glove covers the cuff and palm of the glove and gives structural support as well as protective purposes. This gives the glove a phenomenal open shape and is visually takes up a lot of space to the shooter. The S170 glove also features more HD foam in the palm which gives protection but also allows the glove to snap closed for a break in feel.The backhand of the S170 glove is strategically cut to give the goalie ultimate protection when needed, but to increase mobility when wanted. The backhand is made with the Free Flex cuff which protects the back of the hand when covering the puck, but gives the goalie unrestricted movement when shooting or moving about the crease. Lastly, Bauer includes their Deep Single T pocket which gives the amazing stability when open, but keeps the pocket shape retained over time. This shape makes for a large catching surface which cradles the puck upon impact.Overall the S170 is built for the Average level goalies looking for a pad with a decent amount of newer technology without breaking the bank!
