I was slightly sceptical given the claims made about this product; but the results are quite remarkable and it certainly does what it says on the tin!!

I have used this product today and our door has been restored to its original state. It looks brand new just as it was when we had it installed. I would highly recommend it. A smaller tin would have been ok for me as we only had one door to restore.

Had a client with a badly faded brown Cardale plastic coated garage door which cannot be re-painted. Found Polytrol via internet searching. Was a bit sceptical but other positve reviews gave the confidence to try it. I can confirm it definitely works. Restores the colour exactly as stated. For a wood grain effect door you need to use a soft cloth to ensure the product gets into the grain 'grooves'. My first attempt, on three panels at a time, left the grooves looking white compared to the gleaming brown of the main panels. A change of cloth resolved this on the second attempt. Maybe brushing on would be better but I did not want it running outside of the work area. 10 minutes soak time is all you need.

We have a composite front door which due south with no porch to shield it. we had to have the first door replaced because it was affected with 2 years. The present door we have now had about 5 years and it too was looking awful because of sun damage. After a coat of polytrol it is 95% improved. It is very easy to apply. I would certainly recommend. Delivery was speedy.

Worked brilliantly. I used on a Mini Countryman, all the bumper plastic had faded and parts had faint stripes, painted the Polytrol on with a paintbrush and smoothed out with a cloth left to dry and they look good as new. Very impressed.
