P101 is suitable for marine applications on GRP, wood, ferro concrete and suitably primed metals and can be used over compatible water based paints. Coo-Var P101 Polyurethane Varnish is not suitable for use over conventional solvent based paints.</p> <h3>Best Uses</h3> <p>Coo-Var P101 Polyurethane Varnish is a polyurethane varnish that offers users an exceptionally durable finish for commercial and industrial sites. Coo-Var P101 Polyurethane Varnish can be used over water based colour coatings or unpainted surfaces to provide a glazed finish. Coo-Var P101 Polyurethane Varnish offers excellent colour retention qualities and works to protect against UV light all the while protecting against the growth of fungus.</p> <h3>Application</h3> <p>Coo-Var P101 Polyurethane Varnish can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray once the two part polyurethane hardener and base have been mixed together thoroughly first. Coo-Var P101 Polyurethane Varnish will be touch dry in 4 hours and ready to recoat after 16 hours providing the air is warm and dry. All surfaces must be contaminant free and dry so the varnish can adhere to the surface properly and do it's proper job. Any moisture on the surface could result in a weaker finish. Coo-Var P101 Polyurethane Varnish is available in tubs of 5kg with a theoretical coverage rate of 7-8 m2 per Kg.</p> <h3>Surface and Environment</h3> <p>Coo-Var P101 Polyurethane Varnish can be used internally in Sports Halls to offer a varnished finish to Gymnasiums, Badminton Courts, 5-a-side football pitches, Netball Courts and other Sports Hall Environments. Once applied and dry, Coo-Var P101 Polyurethane Varnish can be easily cleaned of surface contaminants as the surface provided will be smooth and fresh.</p>
