I literally tried everything possible to get rid of my marestails. My garden was overrun with them and I just seemed to be making them worse. I bought kurtail and it is the only thing that has killed the weed completely. Definitely worth the price you pay. Would highly recommend

Although solution was made up exactly as instructed it only seems to have turned a few weed leaves a bit brown after several weeks. Unimpressed so far. Am i doing something wrong?

Dear Carolyn, thankyou for the feedback. This is a product aimed squarely at Horsetail/ Marestail and is backed by our own trials and many happy customers. Marestail is a prolific weed, capable of reproducing from segmented roots, stems and also from seeds and spores! Any previous physical removal of the weed eg pulling, chopping, cultivating will result in multiplying the problem by increasing the number of viable roots and shoots in the soil. Secondly, insufficient spray before the weed reaches 8-10 inches tall will only kill the top growth and not be enough to kill the entire plant or any part of its immediate root – this could be what has happened with yours? Finally, it may be necessary to retreat several times to eradicate all parts of the plant, because some rhizomes (underground roots) go into a dormant phase in a very mature, thick colony and will only produce leaf when the first cover of shoots has been removed. I am assuming your mix concentration was also correct, but we are happy to run through it with you. Thanks, The ProGreen Team
