So far so good, turned brown and dying off within a few days. See if it comes back. Not sure on the amount to use per litre - no measure included and no mention of capfuls per litre.

Hi Michael, we are pleased to hear you are enjoying the product and seeing the results you want! Our application rates are available on the product page. We recommend 25ml of Kurtail Evo to every 1L of water. Kind Regards - ProGreen

I was told that I was wasting my money buying weedkiller to try to clear horsetail. I thought I’d give Kurtail one last chance and bought two bottles. I also bought a pressure container with extended spray lance and filled it with water and Kurtail so I could spray the weed without climbing up my sloping rockery. I was surprised and very pleased to see the weed disappear within a couple of days. I have some left and will spray again at the first sight of more weed. Thanks for the speedy delivery also.

Hi Russell, so pleased to hear this! Thank you for your positive review and feedback, it is much appreciated. Kurtail often does the trick with horsetail, although you might need to respray next season as it may return. A few years of retreatment will fully eradicate horsetail. Kind Regards, ProGreen

Got this Kurtail Evo to use on the horsetail that appeared in my garden last year. I’d tried other products with little to no success, however this stuff started to kill it off a few days after application. I’ve been advised that it will probably talke a few applications over the next year or so, so I’ve bought more as it works a treat. Won’t think twice about using it again and can highly recommend it to anyone who has experienced difficulties in eradicating this horribly invasive weed!

Neighbours have really bad have Marestale which is coming into a border on our drive, we took all the slate off, treated the horsetail waited 10 days then pulled the dead stuff away, re treated the full area, put membrane down, treated again then put the slate back down, hopefully won't need to treat again this year, but will pull slate back up next year and respray on membrane before putting slate back, for the past 5 years we have tried no end of weedkiller but nothing worked long term, hoping this works to prevent it coming back again. Usually after weed killer treatment the horsetail pops up regularly in different areas along the border, after spraying the kurtail along the border, no new shoots popping up which is a first, so hopefully this is the answer. The helpteam were helpful to guide on mix quantities as the packaging was difficult to understand, a quick phone call and we were sorted. I meant to do a before and after picture but totally forgot as was more focused on getting rid of this stubborn marestale once and for all. Plenty left for using next few years to keep maintaining to keep it away.

Instructions very much designed for agricultural/public amenities no domestic use. Relatively easy to apply once dilution ratios confirmed by ProGreen. Marestail turned brown relatively quickly and 99% fully dead c. 2-weeks later with the few remaining green shoots treated with a 2nd blast. So far, it's doing exactly what it promises... Whether it returns to the same extent next year will be the real test

Thank you for your review, it is much appreciated and we always take such feedback into account. Marestail is very stubborn so it is likely it will return next year. Just repeat the process with the Kurtail Evo and it should be fully eradicated after a few years of retreatment. Kinds Regards, ProGreen

Exremely good at controlling horsetail and lots of other weeds. Needs to be handled carefully when spraying, so not to harm other plants.
