“Horsetail killer does kill off the horsetail very quickly above ground but it has taken three years to get it under control, it is still spreading but is finallly almost out of the flower bed and I am looking forward to maybe next year being able to grow flowers again.”

Hi Val, unfortunately horsetail is very stubborn and can take a few years for it to be fully eradicated. We recommend to keep using this product each year and it should go forever! Thank you for your review. Kind Regards, ProGreen

“Excellent product. Killed off the horstail in my garden. Over the past few years of using this product the horstail is becoming more sparse. I do appreciate it can take years to eliminate completely but feel I'm making progress.”

“It works great, within hours the mares tail had started to discolour. Next day it had fallen over, over the next week goes brown, dies and disintegrates.”

“Easy to use product,did what it said on the tin (bottle) within days the mares tail began to wilt and die. Unfortunately the next crop are already begining to show through the soil. I was hoping that the solution would seep into the surrounding soil and inhibit new growth.”

Hi Phil, great to hear! Unfortunately horsetail can be very stubborn and might need to be treated more than once before it is fully eradicated.
