“I have only used this once so far, but it looks like it is killing off the mare's tail (well the top growth at least!). Previous treatments have had little effect. Good guidance too for this and other treatments in the leaflet that came with it, very helpful.”

“Acts like a thickening agent. Reduces over-spray so good for windy conditions. You don't need much - I use 0.5% to 1.0%. Too much and your sprayer won't work. Ideal for large weeds such as thistles and docks.”

“Having tried the suggested mixture, it is still difficult to give an accurate assessment of the effect on the horsetail weed. Those growing from cracks in paving are more affected than those in open ground, perhaps because the solution is more concentrated in the paving areas. It certainly takes quite some time before any change occurs. I still have to try it on the weed in the lawn. It does not seem to have any effect on grass.”
