Hi Jason, Thank you for your feedback, the Gallup home & Garden is an excellent glyphosate option for home owners. However, marestail does require something more targeted due to its complex nature. For marestail/horsetail we'd recommend our Kurtail range. Kurtail Evo is a total weed killer, meaning it will harm anything it comes into contact with. Whereas our Kurtail Lawn is a selective option, it will not harm any member of the grass family, making it safe for use throughout lawns. Both are formulated specifically with marestail in mind. Hi Stephen, Sorry to hear this! The Gallup home & garden is a glyphosate based product, Glyphosate is a very effective chemical in a huge variety of scenarios. With this in mind, we'd love to help establish why you might not be getting the results your looking for. As with any weed killer, the Gallup relies on the plants active growth. If this dandelion is established, on the larger side, or in full flower - its growth rate will have dropped substantially. In these cases we'd recommend cutting it back, allowing time for it to initiate an active period of growth, and then spraying.
