“Great service and after researching we are set on using it, but missed our oppotunity to spray waiting on a napsack sprayer from another supplier along with the necessary protective wear . So will wait till next seasons weeds star to emerge in the meantime we've had a fun time pulling by hand NOT!”

Hi there Brenda, Envy does a particularly good job where buttercup is concerned, however unfortunately it won't prevent brand new growth. Envy is a systemic weed killer and requires foliage in order to be drawn down to the root system. Things like pre-emerged seeds or seeds sat on the surface of the soil, are inaccessible to the weed killer. Therefore the weed itself would need to be present in order for it to be treated. Efficient use at the correct time of year should limit the re-seeding of the plant for future reference. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Progreen
