“Patchy result, and partial effect on large plants. As it is not diluted it feels costly. I don't recommend using trigger spray from bottle if using a lot, as you will get RSI!”

“Called the manufacturer for advice on using a boom, was given great advice on how to manage ragwort.... don't pull, cut, collect, burn and then spray small plants. Ragwort management can feel very stressful and I feel I now have a workable solution. Barrier H's advice...... beat the seed. Small plants died within hours. Great product.”

“Although the foliage dies back the plants tend to throw up a flower spike because they are stressed and the roots are still active. Not a satisfactory solution to eradicating ragwort .”

Hi Graham, thank you for your feedback. Ragwort is a tricky weed to control, seeds freely and withstands many pesticides. Barrier H is an effective control of ragwort and the only one suitable for treatment when ragwort is in flower. It is derived from a natural plant oil, stops ragwort going to seed and buys time for paddock owners maintaining their paddocks against a dangerous weed. Used on its own or in conjunction with a traditional pesticide it offers excellent control. Thanks for the review Joyce. Glad ProGreen was able to provide the alternatives you required for different weeds. We have a handy table that lists our products against common weeds in lawns & paddocks.
