“After completly loing our lawn to the heatwave last summer, I overseeded it aearly Ocober not confident that it would be successful. After a slow start the mild weather and rain transformed our two lawns into beautiful green again. We are so pleased with the advice given and the seed used.”

“This seed has been down for a couple of weeks now and is growing strongly. As it was mid October when sown I was concerned that it was a bit too late to germinate properly, but it is OK, the mild weather has possibly helped.”

“Generally very happy with the results of reseeding my front and back lawns. Very good result on back lawn which had suffered badly with the summer dry spell. A couple of small patches that didn't take. The front lawn which was in much better condition wasn't as successful as a couple of areas of thin grass didn't seem to improve on reseeding. Will have another go at these in the spring.”

“I used this seed for over-seeding most of my lawn, as well as patching bare spots where a trampoline had been and where a mole had left damage. 1. Cut the lawn short. 2. Scarified (bought a cheap electric one – most of the work was picking up the thatch). 3. Applied A1 Pre-Seeder Fertiliser (6-9-6) with a spreader – it had been sitting unused for 3 years but still worked brilliantly. 4. Spread A1 Lawn Luxury Hard Wearing Grass Seed (5kg). 5. Watered daily for about 5–6 days before going on holiday. 6. Crossed my fingers while away for 10 days! The results were fantastic. Even without topsoil (except for covering the trampoline area), I came back to a lush, green, long lawn. After mowing on the highest setting with my Mountfield petrol mower, it looked great. I’m convinced the pre-seed fertiliser made a big difference — not just helping the new seed establish, but also boosting the existing lawn. A1 is much better value than garden centre prices.”

“We are really pleased with this seed. Has given the lawn a lush appearance already. Sowed seed, then the weather turned unexpectedly wet and cool but it didn’t hamper the new growth, the bare patches I made transplanting turf had blended in in just over a fortnight. The lawn looks splendid and healthy with an even growth and a luscious colour. Thank you.”
