“I diluted 500ml to 16 liters in my naps acknowledge sprayer, this was a stronger than needed mix ratio. I read how the mix only needed 4 hours on the plant before rain, this gave me conference in deciding the time to spray. As it happens it did not rain at all, so I was expecting some good results. They were extremely poor and it didn't even kill some Doc leafs growing under a apple tree, some other weeds weren't killed in my paths and hard surfaces, I did not do a overly big area and I mad sure of a good heavy dose. Very disappointed in this resault, I have used Roundup before and I know what sort of results to expect.”

Hi Michael, This sounds like a typical case of product run-off. When a product is applied too heavily, it can form droplets on the leaf surface and run off rather than being absorbed effectively by the plant. Docks have a relatively waxy leaf surface, which makes them more prone to run-off than many other broadleaf weeds. Another factor to consider is how actively the vegetation is growing. For the product to deliver its full effectiveness, the target plant needs to be in an active growth stage. Given the recent weather conditions, growth may have been slowed, which could be contributing to the reduced level of control you're seeing. “Superb results. Had 4ft weeds and thistles and after using the product 3weeks later you wouldn't think any weeds were ever there. Rotovate now and seed with grass for next year. Can't recommend this product enough.”
