“Have been suffering from Horsetail in my lawn, and short of glycophosphating the whole lawn I had no other ideas about how to deal with it. I used the SBT and K Plus combination on it and it has been really effective at killing it off (or at least killing off the stuff that's above ground). Given how tough horsetail is I suspect I'll have to repeat again a few times when it reappears, but I'm hopeful that in time I'll have fixed the problem. For application I decided to purchase a knapsack sprayer, and also a 2 nozzle boom. The Matabi Evolution 16 litre backpack sprayer is brilliant, really like the pressure control device it comes with so you get a nice even spray pressure. I live in a hard water area and didn't realise that you need 2x the amount of K Plus. Only read this when the product arrived, so only had enough for 1x. The mixture was still effective though at killing the horsetail, and hasn't affected the grass at all.”

“This was my first purchase of this product and I have to say that I have been very impressed with results so far. It does take several days for the marestail to die back but it definitely does the job. This is only my second year of being plagued with marestail so I expect it will rear it's head again next spring, it's persistent as we know, but I will be ready for it this time and hopefully stop it in its tracks.”

“Excellent product does what it says. I had a lawn that was more mares tail than grass. Sprayed the area and nothing seemed to happen until a light rain shower about a week after spraying. During the next week, the mare's tail above ground died off and whent to dust. I then dug up the lawn to approximately two spade depths Nearly all the stems and roots under the ground had turned black and died off with only a few exceptions.”

“Marestail is rife where I live. After a bit of research, I found SBK. I applied it as instructed and the results could be seen within an hour. After about 2 weeks, the weed was definitely dead. The area treated remained free of weeds for months. I rarely recommend anything, but this stuff really works.”

“Seemed to work really well on the Mare's Tails in my garden. Unfortunately, I only found out about this product late in the season so did not have chance to do a second treatment which was needed as not all died. Not sure whether this was because of the product or because of new growth. Would definitely recommend, however.”
