Hi Belinda, This sounds like some growth may have been more established than others. Weeds are best treated in their most active stage of growth; if weeds have flowered or become overgrown, they tend to have surpassed this stage, making them much more difficult to treat. In this case, we'd recommend cutting them down and allowing them to initiate a new period of growth before re-treating. I hope this helps, ProGreen

“Killed a whole field of ragwort, dock and burdocks. Within a few hours of spraying all the weeds looked very miserable, over a week on and they're as dead as can be. Hoping this has done the trick and eliminated them for next spring.”
