“I came across ox bile whilst doing some research after being diagnosed with gallstones. I have large ones that are definitely causing me an issue, and though I'd try ox bile whilst I'm waiting for surgery, as I seem to be having a lot of symptoms of low bile. I read review of a few different brands and the general consensus seemed to be that some of the cheaper brands can't be trusted to be consistently good quality, and often caused digestive upsets. Nutricology have very good reviews, and this product itself came highly recommended, so I decided to try it, despite the higher cost. I am feeling the difference already within just a few days of starting on them. I started gradually in case of digestive upset, but I've had no issues. I already have less discomfort, less bloating, and less pain. My stool is still soft, but not as bad as usual, and seems to be darker in colour. Sorry for the TMI! I try to stick to a low fat diet to help ease the symptoms I get when I eat fat, but I'm hoping to be able to use these tablets to increase the fat levels I'm eating as it's very frustrating and depressing having to avoid so much of what I used to enjoy eating. I have tried a small amount of peanut butter, and that seems to have gone well. I can't say for certain that this will work for you, but it seems to be working well for me.”
