“I have always used HP 364 genuine ink in my HP5520 Photosmart printer. The minute I put these ink cartridges in my printer, the printer gave me an error message saying it did not recognise the ink and the black ink was faulty. Furthermore it locked my printer carriage and I was not able to use the printer at all. After a lot of research, I finally solved the problem. In 2016, it appears that HP updated their software so that printers would not recognise non HP Brands. After many complaints from customers they did another update to their software. I updated my printer software and my printer now recognises the ink and the carriage is no longer locked! I would recommend this ink now I have sorted the printer problem.”
