Triton TSPL152 1100W 152mm Surface Planer 240v The Triton TSPL152 Surface Planer is a powerful 1100W surface planer for smooth planing of wood and plastic surfaces. Large 152mm (6") planing width with 770 x 260mm table surface. Dual-bladed cutting block removes material at 16,000cpm with a maximum depth of cut in a single pass at 3.2mm (1/8"). Extruded aluminium fence tilts 45 - 135° with preset stops. Includes guide fence, blade drum guard, push stick, 2 x push blocks, hex spanner and 2 x hex keys. “The machine itself as a whole was great once setup correctly. Had it not had the fault I'm about to describe I'd be using it now. However, I used it for about an hour and when I removed the blades to sharpen them I discovered one of the bolt holes appeared to have been mis-threaded and re-tapped to a different thread size. Obviously blade removal and installation will be a frequent thing on a planer and a stripped thread would not hold up long after several removals. I contacted Triton direct and between them and PTW the machine was collected and I decided to opt for a refund (and spend a lot more money on a different planer). I'd like to think this was a one off but another triton tool I had ended up with a worse fault within the warranty period (less than a weeks use) but I ended up footing the bill and repairing it myself (as it was during lockdown). So two tools and two faults, which should have been picked up on during quality control checks.”

“Wanted the TSPL152 for some time. Didn't disappoint. Instructions on assembly were poor to say the least but Triton have videos available on YouTube whichh made the process very easy. Surprisingly it is not as noisy as other reviews led me to believe so that's a bonus too. Great machine for the workshop.”

“Excellent tool for the money. The back fence is a bit fiddly but does an adequate job. Ear defenders are a must when using the machine. I need to get an adaptor to fit my shop vac to the dust port.”

“For the first time. I am buying a wood processing machine. with a flat and parallel working surface! Quality made jointer! In the European market, the choice is limited and this jointer is one of the good options!”
