Ergonomically, designed, which makes it easy to use. I use it both freehand and as a spindle moulder. Cunning design allows the cutter height to be adjusted from the table top. I also like the multiple speed adjustment and there is bags power. When using it free hand the dust extraction works a treat!

Got to say I'm disappointed with this router. It was purchased to replace my Elu 177E router which had finally packed up so it had a hard act to follow. To be fair there are pro's and con's. On the positive side it has no shortage of power and associated variable settings, I like the turret nut for incremental depth cutting and I like the fact that I can adjust the depth of cut from above when used in my router table. I also think the on and off switch with safety button is a step forward too. On the flip side I think it's lacking quality - It has a cheap plastic cable (I would expect rubber sleeving on a trade machine of this cost!) that is already kinking up which is frustrating when using, especially on site. The depth adjustment is basic to say the least, with just a sliding rod with markings on which a screw just tightens up on - not user friendly and I can foresee the bar developing screw indentations over a period of time making it difficult to set. The depth locking nut is plastic too. This lack of quality in certain areas leads me to think the motor and ancillaries could well be the same and concerns me that it's not going to be a long lasting machine - time will tell. Finally, early days I know, but I'm not a fan of the supposed ergonomic angled handles as you are led to apply your weight out of line (forward) of the actual plunge action, as I said this could be something I just need to get used to.

Very nice. Powerful but easy to use. It's big and heavy but gives good results. Used it to cut 40mm Worktops and holes for worktop bolts.
