“I used this to free an exterior door that had swollen and kept sticking badly. Using an 8"-wide aluminium 'plank' as a straight-edge and guide, it cut a perfect strip down the door edge. I estimate that the maximum amount cut away was about 2mm / around 1/16", up to 3mm / around 1/8". I use a Trend T11 router, which drove it perfectly smoothly in one pass. There was no juddering or vibration (which I thought might have been expected given the size of the cutter). I probably won't need it again, but it was worth it just for the one perfect result.”
