“This light/Charger unit is awesome. It is very well made Producing 3000 lumens with its flexible lamps, it will easily light up a room in any house. It has the added advantage of being able to run off mains power. The cable is fixed to the unit on the UK model. (USA model it detaches). The cable stores in the "cubby" in the side of the unit so it isn`t an issue when not in use. You can also charge a battery when powered by 240v supply. There are 3 brightness settings for the lights and 3 settings for lights on.. Large light on its own, Small lights on their own or all together. The light will also come on in the last configuration it was set to when it was switched off. The lights rotate almost 360 degrees. When clipped onto a Packout stack it takes up half the area of a standard Packout box. Being Packout you can clip it to a tower of boxes allowing your to raise the height of the light. If your stack is tall enough you could have the lights shining down onto your work area possibly creating less shadows. Whilst it isn`t the cheapest light on the market you have to remember it is not just a light. Being part of the TRUEVIEW light range that means it won`t distort the colours of electrical cables (i.e make Red cables look Brown or Pink etc). It will run on any M18 battery including the big M18 12 amp unit. My opinion is it has been well thought out, the quality of the unit can bee seen in its construction, Its a Milwaukee Tool and worth the investment.”
