Had a basic mitre saw £100 . The Metabo is well worth the price , far better built & superior machine

The metabo kgs216m performs like the far more expensive brands. The mitre and square cuts were very accurate.

Very good quality mitre saw that's easy to use once you familiarise with the instructions which could be clearer

The quality is reasonable but as a mitre saw it has too many flaws to recommend. Dust continuously gathers on the rails which stops the last 1mm of the cut from being reached. The dust extraction is useless as the port is too far. There are no presets for angles other than 0 and 45.

For the money, this is excellent value and perfect for a ‘hobbiest’. The sliding capability and lazer guide make it a very versitile, easy to use and an accurate saw. A real bargain !

very pleased with this mitre saw ,it seems very robust and hopefully will last a long time ,only slight negative is i think the preset positions for angle cuts dont seem very accurate

Nicely made saw, just what I expect from Metabo. Compound action is good and smooth and the work clamp so much better than my old saw. Accurate cuts at 30 and 45 degrees as well as on 90. Like the cable tidy for storage. Laser is about 1mm out but not a big issue for me. Lots of polystyrene in the packaging which isn't great from a recycling point of view although the saw came out of the box in perfect condition.
