The router is the best I've used. Only problem is it's delivered without a plug which isn't the best

Really good bit of kit. Nice and smooth with only a little kick. The plunge glides perfectly with just enough tension so that you have perfect control. Collets grip the bits nice and securely and release really easily when you want to remove them.

I bought this on a friends recommendation and although I've only done one under mounted sink cutout and a few radius edges, it feels rock solid. Why Makita didn't add a guide bush is beyond me, but at £8, it's not a deal breaker. The guide bush fixing method is genius and there's no movement either, which is always a bonus. I'm waiting for my next kitchen fit, to give the router a good workout, but doubt it will disappoint. One thing to note is it's bloody heavy, compared to any others I've had or used.

This Makita router is much improved from the one it replaced which was purchased about 10-12 years ago, would recommend to anyone with workshop or site routeing work.
