Bought the red Makita MR007 for my son, a roofer! He absolutely loves it! Fantastic sound, easy to use…. It was recommended to me by my carpenter brother who is a tech whiz and who’d already bought one, saying it’s the best one he’s owned!

It’s a radio that doe’s what it says on the packet. Solid, robust, & I personally like the weighty feeling. The radio is easy to set up & easy to operate. I recommend this radio also because you can use a variation of battery size, (12, 18, or 40V). The only downside is maybe the cost, however I’ve agreed to share it with my 6 year old girl, so that softened the blow.
