“My first ever cut off saw and having seen numerous reviews I felt the Makita would meet my needs, which it has. The ease of carrying makes it portable enough to take away from the workshop for other jobs having a power supply. I have increased the power rating in the workshop from 16 amps to 32 amps as the saw does draw on the power at start up. The spark deflector is worth mentioning as it does work very well in reducing the spark spread when cutting. Reliability from Makita and a very competitive price from Power Tool World, have added their site to my favourites for any future purchases.”

“Simple & basic to operate. Not sure how long the quick release thread on the material vice will last, it does make clamping material quick & easy.”
