Only used a couple of times before being prompted to write a review, but first impressions are good. Good clean cuts in rough timber, made without issue.

Was after the latest model 7611 but this was always out of stock. However, the 7601, slightly less power, is just as good and great for what I want. Good quality and easy to use. Good value for money too.

Never used a circular saw before but the Makita is well-made and is easy to use. There's a knack to making the cuts accurately. The guide notch is quite wide, meaning you have to use some judgement. Otherwise, it's a very good tool.

Good quality toll but there is down side that depth isn’t marked on it like other brands do
