Bought this 240v over 18v cordless to do some heavy sustained core drilling and this did not disappoint. Great consistent power with a well balanced clutch helping avoid burning out the motor. Light considering how robust it is and the anti vibration technology (AVT) makes this comfortable to use for prolonged periods. Great value and great quality you will not be dissatisfied

Solid bit of kit. Used for drilling into brick and old concrete - worked a treat. For some reason I didn't immediately twig that you need to turn the handle itself to loosen it and move it to a different angle on the drill. That's my fault though.

A well made tool which is to be expected from Makita I have not used it alot since purchase but it is better that the Metabo that it replaces, it seems to have more hammer power for the same percussion energy stated in the specs.
