Tool very useful powerful and handles well. I tend to always buy Makita 18v or mains if need be and this product has so far proven to be excellent. I have also purchased the dedicated makita case designed specifically for this item and it makes me feel I can look after this item better

I used this with a diamond disc to cut some floor tiles and kerb stones and it did the job perfectly. Its a little heavy compared with the 115mm but well worth the upgrade as it is a more professional tool.

Excellent grinder but 6kg is uncomfortably heavy for shoulder height work for me. I sent it back for 240v GA9050 instead which has the same power but is smaller, 1kg lighter and has at least a 10mm deeper cut. It doesn't have soft start though. I have a 110v GA9050 already and although it doesn't have soft start it is softer than this 240v GA9020s. I think 110v tools ramp up slower?
