I purchased this cordless vacuum, as breaking down 8x4 sheet goods at the big box store (Wickes) was becoming a very messy problem. Positives the suction really works well. Circ saws are renowned for spewing out lots of dust, but this vacuum managed to contain a good 70-75%. I was really surprised. If you do get this machine, please order the pre-filter bags (162635-6) that goes over the main filter. This will protect the main filter from clogging too much. Unfortunately PTW are still out of stock. The fully charged 5ah battery lasted longer than expected. Still had 2 bars after 32 full width cuts. Remove the hose, re-attach to the exhaust & you have an instant blower. Nowhere near a powerful as the DUB185Z, but still a very handy addition. However, the DVC750 is not without fault. Makita (and influencers) claim the hose extends to two metres. This is not entirely true. There's no grip on the base of the machine & as soon as you start to strech the hose past the one metre mark (I'm probably being really generous here), the vacuum slides towards you. The hose end doesn't fit any of my Makita tools, and I have lots of them. Still not sure which adapter to purchase, therefore I have to use a Karcher vacuum hose extension connected to it with a bit of tape to make it fit. It doesn't make it easy when you're concentrating on the cut. Doesn't come with a filter bag, so that needs to be purchased seperately. Am I happy & would I recommend it? Yes.
