“An absolute brilliant bit of kit from Makita really well made the photo doesn’t do it justice.it’s powerful & pretty light you don’t really need the strap that comes with it,I put mine on when it arrived & used it with it on,it’s handy to have”

“Lightweight and easy to use. Has a tendency to allow the strimmer line to get stuck under the spool and jam it up, which is time consuming, this happened 5 times during an hour strimming grass. I would opt for something a bit easier to work on as you cannot take it apart to sort out binding problems it has to go back to the service department.”

“Was delivered quickly, only issue was that i ordered 3 makita tools and they all arrived separately, had no idea if one of my items had been missed, was very confusing as final item delivery confirmation received a few days later. Box was opened with grass inside but called customer services, customer support was excellent, answered quickly and reassured it had not been used and offered a replacement. Powertool World had the best prices, would recommend the company 100%. Reviews for this strimmer were mixed but i have to say i have found it excellent for my garden, i don't use it to cut down knee high grass or anything severe, only to edge and tidy up paving, can't fault it, way better than my old one.”

“I brought this after trying a friends. I wanted to strim up to a plastered wall and a brick wall. It’s great and doesn’t damage any of the walls and it’s super easy to use.”
