Disappointed in the Makita strimmer , the line doesn’t auto feed as it should , and I spend more time taking it apart to feed the line through manually than I do actually using it. All of my tools are Makita and I have always been impressed by the quality and reliability, but not very impressed with the strimmer. Will be in touch to either get it replaced or refunded.

Lasts well on a single 8ah but have a few ready and charged cycling them back into. Garage as you go, ideal quantity for Strimmer is two 8ah

Toys "R" us version of what a real strimmer/weed wacker should be. Absolutely gutted I purchased it. Usless at it's job! Thank God I didn't buy it with batteries, and charger.

Perfect for what I needed. Ergonomic and adjustable, I bought the higher spec brushless one a few months back and didn't get on with it as was not able to adjust the head and couldn't get the cutting angle needed - I have given that to my taller son and it's good. Usual Makita quality

I watched videos of this on YouTube before I purchased it and to be honest I was quite impressed with the way it performed, a single thread line, lightweight and easy to use. However there is One little gripe I have with the DUR193Z Trimmer, it maybe me or the quality of the Makita 1.6mm line provided with it, it keeps breaking when turned to trim the edges of the grass, that is why I just gave it a 4 Star.
