So much better than my old petrol one, even on low power it cuts through grass with no problem. It is light to use and easy to store. On a 3amp hour battery I found I could do the edging on the front and back garden with power to spare but as always it's not a bad idea to have at least one extra battery. Certainly it will last longer than it takes to charge a second one. Haven't needed the reverse yet but after having to stop and untangle the petrol strimmer I can see it saving time and effort. As usual great service from power tool world. And at the best price I could find anywhere .
