After first use the machine seems to perform well. It is robust and effective - perhaps not as lightweight as I would have liked - but it does strike me as very good value for money. The 3Ahr battery pack that I already possess (powers my drill) gives about 40min of continuous use.

Great value and it’s very easy to use. The line advance may be a problem, time will tell.

works well, not the most powerful, but lasts on 4ah battery

Purchased as I already have Makita 18v Li-on tools. This is more than adequate to do the standard strimming jobs in my garden and still use only 50% of a 3 amp/hr battery. It would struggle with brambles though. Very pleased with this product.

Only up to lightest of tasks, single cutting line only, plastics don't feel very robust and comparatively pricy for what it is.
