Makita DUN500WZ 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Adjustable Head Pole Hedge Trimmer Body Only The Makita DUN500 is made for those higher hedges when multi angle cutting is desired. It has long runtime on a single 18v LXT battery (sold separately). New triple-edged cutting teeth are designed to easily catch and firmly hold branches. Curved blades reduce friction resistance to suppress energy loss. Due to the low resistance run time is increased. The Makita DUN500 Cutting head has 6 angle settings, plus it can be folded flat for easy transport and storage. Supplied body only. Batteries and chargers are sold separately. “This is a great hedge trimmer. It's very powerful although this does also depend on the battery condition. The 3 speeds is a must. At high speeds the cutters will skim over branches so require a slow speed to allow the cutters to get a grip on the branches and so cut them off. Being new, the blades were razor sharp, so the cutting was easy. The faster speeds were great for tackling the leaves and outer small stems.”

“£300+ was a big investment but having many of the other Makita 18v LXT tools i.e. batteries made the decision easier; we have a lot of hedges and I was desperate for something that's quicker, cuts through thicker branches and aids with reach... The Makita DUN500WZ is absolutely amazing and worth every penny! I have just the 3.oAh batteries and they last plenty for me, it cuts through everything (haven't needed to use the reverse function yet!), it cuts beautifully straight and being able to adjust the cutting angle is just fantastic. Can't recommend this tool enough and I expect it to last many years with good maintenance. 5*****”

“Fast delivery. Makita cordless Hedge Trimmer. Sharp, powerful, lightweight, long reach. Got Makita tools already so have 4 batteries. I’ve got massive leylandii hedge, went through it like butter. On number 3 speed you’ll get around 45 mins to 1 hr run time. No more noise, no mixing petrol, no stalling, starts immediately. Cannot go wrong, lovely piece of kit.”
