“This is a great piece of kit for trimming hedges and shrubs. It's not too heavy which is important for me and it uses the same battery as my other Makita tools. It has saved me a lot of time and given a good finish to my garden.”

“Excellent hedge trimmer. Has made it fairly easy work to trim our front hedges (which are very over grown). It can even tackle some larger branches (2-3 cm thick) by cutting them a little slower. Very quiet to use and fairly light too. Super simple to operate and very safe with having to have hands on both triggers - no risk of putting your hand near the cutter as it’s not possible.”

“This trimmer is well balanced and easy to use. It’s not as powerful as a mains powered trimmer but it’s so much more convenient. Anything fatter than 1cm still has to be cut in advance by hand but that isn’t a huge issue.”
