This makes handling and cutting any timber up to 100+mm so easy. The tool is well made and easy to use, single handed use allows the wood to be easily controlled by the other hand. Thoroughly recommended.

I wish I’d bought this Makita pruning saw earlier, it is absolutely brilliant and has been a godsend for tackling trees and large shrubs, it has made easy work of what used to take me days on end. It’s got great power and cuts through cleanly, plus the battery lasts longer than I do! It’s comfortable to hold and not too heavy, plus I feel safe using it whilst up a tree. As a 60 year old lady it has made the autumn pruning ordeal almost enjoyable and I’m sure I will put it to great use on other sawing tasks. Great service and best price from Power Tool World and delivered perfectly via DPD.

Luckily I had only used it briefly before realising that there was no chain oil in it. It had been delivered empty which, with hindsight, is understandable. Yes!, I had read the instruction booklet beforehand and after I'd discovered it was empty but it certainly, on first reading and the second, doesn't make it obvious that it needs to be filled with oil before first use. The small lubrication section reads more as routine maintenance to check the oil level after each use and top up, if needed. All that said, it's a neat, handy little tool, just what I wanted and I should get years of use out it....... but........ My customer feedback is - It needs to be made obvious ...... ITS EMPTY, FILL IT UP, BEFORE FIRST USE.

Great little tool - powerful and not greedy on the battery - and saving much time and effort - I would recommend it.

the saw kept on jamming -then I found out it was jamming as the chain was catching onto the protective guard - which clearly it should not - I have returned it for a refund
