Although small it is packed with features like 0-3500 impacts per minute and bright twin LED joblights for working in dark conditions. It also has an all metal gearbox for a long life and a soft grip handle designed to maximise thrust right to the bit. The latest model is based on the DTD146, but is even more compact with increased maximum torque, impacts per minute and no load speed. Supplied body only. Batteries and chargers are sold separately. “Wish I’d got one sooner. Best tool I’ve ever used. So small and light. But the power of it and effortless use of it is so impressive. Cannot praise it enough. I was hanging a couple of radiators on a kitchen job I was doing for a customer and it’s that powerful it ripped the threads off a rawl type bolt. And it was effortless to put in also. Now I’m used to it after a week. It’s the best tool by far in my collection. 10 out of 10 for me.”

“I wanted one of these for a while as have other Makita 18V Li-Ion kit but have never owned an impact driver as part of the set. Have only used once so far but this one seems to have plenty of torque. Had not bought before as not seen at a price I could afford. This purchase was perfect!”

“I’m a builder/kitchen and bathroom fitter. Been doing this type of work for about 30 years. With not one complaint ever. Can I say omg what a good piece of kit this is. Cannot believe I’ve never used one. Or seen one in action. It’s the best thing since bread was discovered. The effortless power of it is mind blowing. And it doesn’t slip off the screws or bolts at all. It just winds coach bolts in no bother. It’s that powerful I actually ripped the threads off a couple of bolts until I got the hang of its power. I cannot praise it enough. My other drills won’t be putting another screw in ever again.”
